Company Interviews: Kaleb Horn as Amiens
We asked Kaleb Horn, who plays Amiens and is the Composer for our production of As You Like It, a few questions about himself, his character, and music...
What is your favourite forest or type of forest?
My favourite forest is in California’s Sequoia National Park where the trees are older than Jesus and the pine cones are bigger than the squirrels.
If your character were at Junction City Music Hall, what drink would they order?
Absinthe.
Did you ever write love poetry?
... YES! I’m in a band and I often write about love because there is no shortage of it in this bizarre and beautiful world.
What is your favourite 60s love song?
Til The Real Thing Comes Along, by Judy Henske.
If you could see one band/musician at any time in the past, present or future, who would that be?
Talking Heads, December 1983 at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. It’s probably the greatest concert there ever was.
What are you most excited for people to see in this production?
The live music Hilary and I have worked so hard on and Lesley Robertson as Touchstone (I almost threw up in rehearsal from laughing so hard)!
