Have you been in a production of Othello before?
I have not… BUT I did study the play in high school out in Calgary (Represent!). I had a super passionate teacher, Mr. Selby, who really made me fall in love with the play.
What neighbourhood of Toronto do you live in?
The Junction. It’s great. I used to live right downtown at Bay and Dundas, and it was way too busy for me. Now, being out in the Junction, it’s much more quiet. There’s still a lot to do in the area, but without all the bustle.
What’s the best line in the play?
“By Janus”
Shakespeare BASH'd is known for their love of karaoke. What's your go-to karaoke song?
“You’re Welcome” from Moana as performed by the breath-taking Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson.
If your character were at the Monarch Tavern, what drink would they order?
Cassio would politely decline a drink offer, but if you really pressured him, he’d get a double tequila sunrise.
Everyone refers to Iago as 'honest.' What attribute do people sometimes falsely give to you?
Funny
What are you most excited for people to see in this production?
I am excited for people to see this incredible cast. What an amazing ensemble. I get excited to watch everyone in rehearsal, let alone in performance.
